Team
The team include passionate researchers, engineers and computers scientist that want by development of new sensing technologies and advanced machine learning analysis to improve healthcare and medical diagnostics
Dr. Gaddi Blumrosen
Principle Instructor
Gaddi Blumrosen is the head of AI-Medical sensing and diagnostic lab at HIT, where he serve also as senior lecturer (assistant professor) at the faculties of computer science, and digital medical technologies (https://www.hit.ac.il/en/faculty_staff/Gaddi_Blumrosen)
He also serve as the director of machine learning at the school of computer science at HIT, and editor of the special issue of Wearable Sensing of Medical Condition at Home Environment
Gaddi is a multi-disciplinary scientist, and tries to deploy in his lab advanced computational tools (signal processing, modeling, and machine learning) to develop new technologies, and explore different aspects of engineering, biology, medicine, and neuroscience.
Itai Ofir
MsC student
Itai focus on neuro-behavioral diagnosis using multi-modal sensing of different neurological diseases and disorders using facial expression.
Itai is a tech enthusiast. He find the ability to imitate human-like comprehension mind-blowing and feeling quite humbled to live in that era. He is interested in NLP, Computer Vision and Deep Learning, and work in Inuitive’s at the algorithms team to create new deep learning based algorithms to further implemented in the chip.
Moran Shemesh
MsC student (co-advised with Dr. Jonathan Schler
Moran's research is NLP-based for identifying characteristic patterns in human interaction, and predicting the development of events out of conversations.
She has a bachelor's degree in mathematics - Ben-Gurion University. Specializes in product development and systems analysis and currently works as a product manager at Mobileye.
Anton Gellashvili
MsC student (co-advised with Dr. Hezi Resheff (Hebrew University)
Anton explores how to improve ADHD and hyperactivity with video steams with a simple video camera in contrast to existing methods that require the use of professionals and expensive sensors.
Anton work in leading companies in the field of machine learning and computer vision
Nicky Embrechts
BsC Thomas More intern student
Nicky try in his research to explores and estimate autism level through advanced computer vision and machine learning techniques.
He has a passion for machine learning and computer vision systems, driven by my love for coding and fueled by nightly coding sessions with energizing music
